Day by day itinerary
Day 01: Arrival at San Jose, Costa Rica.
Transfer to hotel in San José. Accommodation at Hotel Villa Tournon. Welcome to Costa Rica. Arrive at Juan Santamaria International Airport. After passing through Immigration you will be met by one of our representatives. He will take you to your hotel and give you your welcome kit. Overnight in San Jose City. Hotel Villa Tournon. Come and enjoy the hospitality and the tranquility of an oasis just a few blocks from downtown San José. Central location, close to major attractions such as the national theatre, gold museum or to the Capital’s night life.
Day 2: Guided excursion Irazú Volcano. Orosi Valley & Lankester Gardens (One day) pick up at your hotel in San José right after breakfast. Following the Panamerican Highway South, to start ascending the large “Iztaru”.  The winding road travels through fertile lands cultivated with all kinds of vegetables as we observe a lovely panoramic view. On the top of the volcano you can observe the main craters and on a clear day both the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans can be seen.  As you descend to the city of Cartago we will stop at the Virgin of the Angels Basilica that according to religious custom is a peregrination site for many believers. After visiting the Basilica a stop would be made at Lankester Gardens, the University of Costa Rica Center for investigation that protects more than 800 species of orchids and bromeliads and countless species of other plants. Continue on to the Valley of Orosi where creation overflows in unparallel beauty. You will be able to visit one of the few remaining colonial churches and will stop for lunch in one of the local restaurants. During our tour it will be possible to observe La Casa Del Soñador an example of Costa Rican primitive art. Recommendations: Hat, jacket, walking shoes, insect repellent, binoculars and camera.
Day 03: Shuttle transfer to Puerto Viejo. Hotel Azania Bungalows. (B) Azania Bungalows is located in front of Cocles Beach (awarded with the Costa Rican Government Blue Flag for clean beaches), at the South Caribbean Coast of Costa Rica. Just a few steps from the Caribbean Sea, with the tropical rainforest in background. The spacious and tastefully decorated bungalows are privately set apart amidst lush gardens full of color and natural beauty. Each bungalow comes equipped with a refrigerator and has its own private deck and hammock out front, inviting to relax and enjoy the colourful tropical gardens. Azania also offers a restaurant where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner under a palm leaf rancho.
Day 04: Free day Puerto Viejo. Azania Lodge. (B).
Day 05: Private Transfer to Sixaola. At Sixaola take a private transfer to Isla Colon and Bocas del Toro, Panamá. Hotel Bocas del Toro. Early in the morning a bilingual guide will meet you in your Hotel. Transfer vía bus and boat through Changuinola and Almirante to Colón Island.  Bocas del Toro is an archipelago of islands with classic Caribbean aqua blue water, palm lined beaches set against nature-dense rainforest. The town of Bocas is home to most hotels and services and is low key, friendly and fun. Surfing, birding, dolphin observation, nature tours, snorkeling and diving are some of Bocas' attractions. Bocas is perfect for independent travelers, couples seeking romantic natural surroundings and families who want to have quality fun and nature-education experiences together. Day 06: Bocas Del Toro. Hotel Bocas del Toro. Full days at leisure at Bocas del Toro. You will have included a One Day Tour to Bahía de los Delfines, including time for snorkeling at Punta Hospital y Cayo Coral. Afternoon visit Playa Rana Roja (Red Frog).
Day 07: Boat and Bus Transfer to Boquete. Hotel Finca Lerida. Finca Lerida’s original vintage family home of Scandinavian design consists of  3 suites and 2 bedrooms, each with private bath, individually decorated conserving the warm Scandinavian style.  The living room with beautiful fireplace and garden bohio have views of the forest and stream on the property.
Day 08: Full day at Boquete. Hotel Finca Lerida.
Day 09: Transfer back to Costa Rica. Change minivan in Paso Canoas (Panama Border) after clearing customs continue private transfer to Dominical Beach. Hotel Cuna del Angel. Jungle Room.
